Mopp

A Bike for Real Men

More info about this product

A bike for “real men” must be big, heavy and powered by a Big Twin engine. The bigger the better…or not? Exactly! Mopp, nickname of a real man from Hamburg, dock worker and over 40 years old.

In the winter of 2002 we started this “real man” Sportster project that has a wide glide triple tree and forward controls. First we took the bike apart and modified the rear frame. The stiletto fender was used for the very first time and to underline the sportive character we decided on a rear wheel of 200 in a 6” disc wheel. Up front it’s the 3,5” wide wheel with a 120 wide tire. The clear view into the rear wheel was enhanced by a sideways mounted license plate an a small rear light. A stretched Sportbob tank with a decent airbrush on a solid black paintjob added value to the excellent looks. The sound and the performance were achieved by a stainless steel Lottermann exhaust and a 42 Mikuni carburator. At our stand in Hamburg for the 100 year Harley-Davidson anniversary party Mopp was introduced to the enchanted public proving that Sportsters are not bikes only for women.
