Big Wheels Keep On Turning.

Those big wheels don't just turn in “Sweet Home Alabama” but also with us in Soltau Wolterdingen.
We all know that the Dyna is the starter model of the Big Twin family and it's just as neglected in the customizing world as the Sporty is. But that's just where our strength lies because a Dyna can also be a full blooded custom bike…and how.
The 2006 Dyna Wide Glide which comes in a friendly shade of black and decent airbrushing could be described as a modern, if not exactly exciting bike. A factory 6 speed transmission, powerful Twin Cam 88 engine and swing arm frame are some of the Dyna's key components.

Sound, the rear end and the lines aren't all that so we decided together with the client for a radical transformation. To improve the lines we stretched the original tank by 4 inches which also set us up for the rear end modification.

When we say radical we mean radical so we decided to develop a kit to mount a 300 tire. We've fitted our legendary Stiletto rear fender along with a special swing arm and our “Crazy Bob 300“ Primary Offset Kit. A 10.5 x18 Zero Cool wheel with a 300 Metzeler tire forms the heart of it but that's not all. A Drive Side Brake system gives an un-obstructed view of the wheel and a Legend Air suspension system allows you to raise and lower the rear.

We've also fitted a Zero Cool wheel at the front which is covered by a Bob front fender. Fat wheels rotate in the Dyna and the sound also needs to be fat. So the Twin Cam engine gets a Dynojet Kit with a Zero Cool upswept exhaust system which doesn't just give a raw sound with TüV Approval but also boosts the power-plant's output.

OMP Style Foot Controls, Superbike Handlebars, Kellermann indicators, a leather seat with embroidered stitching and, of course, lots of stainless steel screws plus a Pro Series air filter provide the finishing touch.

And always remember when you hear that song "Big Wheels“ also turn at Lottermann and always get you home.
